Homemade peanut brittle

Passed on from a friend -

2 cups of sugar, 4 table spoons of butter, 1 teaspoon of salt and a cup of nuts (not salted). Melt butter in pan on a medium heat, stir in sugar until it’s dissolved. Take off heat and Stir in nuts making sure they’re all coated and pour into a greased tin or use parchment paper. Leave to cool.
