Holly’s Bedtime Biscuits

 



These crunchy biscuits are the ideal bedtime treat for your dog (and you!). The ginger is great for soothing delicate digestion, chamomile helps promote relaxation and sleepiness, and the oats provide slow-release energy to keep away those overnight hunger pangs.
For a batch of 20 or so:
🐾 220g finely ground oats (or whizz normal porridge oats)
🐾 1 medium egg
🐾 1 tablespoon honey
🐾 50ml water (you may need more)
🐾 1 tablespoon olive oil
🐾 1/2 tablespoon ground ginger
🐾 2 tablespoons fine chamomile/ or the contents of 6 chamomile tea bags.
🐾 1 tablespoon fresh ginger - finely grated
Combine the ingredients by mixing to a dough, roll into 20 golf ball-sized portions. Pop onto a baking tray, press lightly to slightly flatten each biscuit.
Bake on 180 fan for 15 mins, allow to cool and then serve with a bowl of oat or goat's milk for the ultimate night time treat.
