The Welsh - Laurie Lee


 

Bore da, bawb.
I stumbled across this quote recently and felt obliged to share it with you all.
Throughout history, the Welsh were often viewed as being a bit shorter and darker than the English, so that might explain the "wine-dark race" comment.
