Dogs don office wear for dress-down Furs-day
You won’t find them on the catwalk but these pooches look smarter than the average dog.
If you look hard enough, they may well resemble the people you see every day in the office.
We have the middle-aged bald man with big ears and glasses and the scruffy bearded lad with curly black hair and bright eyes.
Then there’s the rather sinister woman from sales with the blonde tresses and piercing frown.
Or maybe you’ve seen that stern older guy, with grey eyebrows and brown beard, in the post room?
Perhaps they remind you of those slightly creepy ‘dogs playing pool’ pictures you see on pub walls.
Photographer Fran Veale, 30, found his subjects in the streets of Dublin.
‘I got the idea after I photographed my own dog Jackie. I wanted a funny portrait to go over the mantelpiece,’ he said.
‘She had such a serious human-like expression we fell around the place laughing, so much so I could barely take the picture.
‘It really captured her personality. It’s quite amazing how, with just a look, a dog can communicate with its owner.
‘Some dogs were really easy, they just sat there and gave me a stare, while others had to be held by their owners.’
Only two out of 40 people rejected his request to photograph their dogs.
