The French Bulldog

Did you know the French Bulldog began its journey as a lace-maker’s companion in 19th-century France? 🇫🇷🐾
When English lace workers moved to France during the Industrial Revolution, they brought small bulldog-type dogs with them. French breeders refined these companions into a smaller, more charming version with distinctive “bat ears” and a playful, affectionate personality. 🐶✨
Quickly becoming the darlings of Paris cafés and artists’ studios, Frenchies earned a reputation as fashionable city companions—beloved for their adaptability, loyalty, and irresistible expressions. Recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1898, they remain one of the most popular breeds worldwide.
Charming. Affectionate. Full of character.
The French Bulldog isn’t just a breed—it’s Parisian charm in a pint-sized package. 🐶
❤️
