Rover's Makeovers - Luke and his adorable shih tzu friend!

The pup-tastic grooming staff at Rover Oaks Pet Resort in Katy are helping animals from Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) go from bow to wow by providing weekly doggie makeovers for lucky CAP dogs each Wednesday. The pups also receive a free grooming certificate from Rover Oaks Katy so their new adoptive parents can continue to keep them looking their best!
This week's makeovers feature a little shih tzu who has yet to be named, and Luke a bichon mix.
Let’s meet our little shih tzu friend BEFORE her Rover’s Makeover!
The little shih tzu is a four or five year old girl, tiny little thing who was buried under mounds of mats and sticky burrs when she was found wandering the streets. Even though she was horribly matted she was very sweet and very quiet for the groomer...and very quiet and cuddly overall. She just looks at the world with a cute little head tilt. She just cleared stray hold and will be looking for a wonderful home to call her own.
Check out the sweet girl NOW!
Meet Luke BEFORE his Rover’s Makeover!
Luke is a little bichon boy, around 6 years old. He too was a stray. Luke can be a little barky and head shy at first, and takes a while to warm up to people. But he plays well with other dogs and given a little time will make a wonderful companion. Luke is being fostered by a Rover Oaks Katy staffer, so for more information on him please contact Joy Lee at 281-693-7687 or e-mail joy@roveroaks.com.
Check out Luke NOW!
The little shih tzu girl, along with many other wonderful dogs, cats and small animals are waiting patiently for loving homes at Citizens for Animal Protection, 17555 Katy Freeway (near I-10 at Barker-Cypress) in Houston. You can also visit them on the web at www.cap4pets.org but as there are many more animals at the shelter than are listed on the site, it is definitely worth a visit. Hurry over to CAP...your new best friend is waiting to meet you!
