Now I lay me
Down to sleep
The king size bed
Is soft and deep
I sleep right in
The center groove
My Pops
He can barely move
I've trapped his legs
We're tucked in tight
And here is where
I pass the night
No one disturbes
Or dare intrudes
T'ill morning comes
And I want food
I sneek up slow
And then begin
To nibble upon
My Pops chin
The sun comes up
I start to play
I always seem
To get my way
I thank you now
You've given me
The human persons
That I see
The one who hugs
And holds me tight
And shares the bed
With me at night...
Down to sleep
The king size bed
Is soft and deep
I sleep right in
The center groove
My Pops
He can barely move
I've trapped his legs
We're tucked in tight
And here is where
I pass the night
No one disturbes
Or dare intrudes
T'ill morning comes
And I want food
I sneek up slow
And then begin
To nibble upon
My Pops chin
The sun comes up
I start to play
I always seem
To get my way
I thank you now
You've given me
The human persons
That I see
The one who hugs
And holds me tight
And shares the bed
With me at night...
