African Proverb

When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind. In life it is important to find things that ground you and give you reason to keep going when times get tough, and for many family and friends provide this grounding. No matter how hard the wind blows at times when you plant your roots deep by taking the time to develop these important relationship you will not be uprooted or knocked over. You can stand strong even when the winds reach hurricane strength, and when the storm is over you will still be standing tall and proud. If you do not work to develop strong roots you could end up like a weak sapling when the winds of life start to blow, and these winds could knock you over and tear the shallow roots that you have right out of the ground.
