So often dogs are expected to conform to a human idea of what a dog should be, how a dog should behave in all situations. We don't expect all people to be the same or behave the same, we respect individuality in humans. It's time to realise that we must do the same for the dogs in our lives, recognise them for the wonderful individuals that they are, and respect their unique personalities.
