You might be light-hearted and speedy but she’s not.
You might be popular and rocking at work but he’s not.
Or, she or he might be happy and rocking outwardly, but not unless we slow down to take a moment to care do we establish trust and friendship and relearn empathy...and feel where someone is really at.
So take a vow, now: I’ll check in with someone in the next day, and be considerate, and genuine, and helpful.
