Magazine, it wasn't some cheap P.R. stunt. Rather, it was a wry commentary on the newly emerging sexual revolution. That impish smile on his face tells you that he wasn't taking himself (or his much reported "sex symbol" status) seriously -- and, as always, he was getting the last laugh. For all his talents and charm, it was that razor-sharp sense of humor that made him a star. Farewell, Burt Reynolds. Thank you for the wonderful fun memories.
