She perched, upon the edge, of Magic, when first, she turned the page,
and fell, into enchantment, of another place and age,
She put on silks and satin, and on her journey's flight,
she danced, as Cinderella, and slept Sleeping Beauty's night,
And then, as Alice, quickly chased, a Rabbit, late, and hurried,
all the way, to Wonderland, a place of Topsy-turvy!
As Wendy, flew with Peter Pan, to the strange Land, of Never,
was almost tempted there, to stay, forever and forever.
And so, the day passed, visiting, the worlds, within her book.
She knew, that they'd be waiting, when next, she chanced, to look.
To travel, 'cross all space and time, a ticket, you don't need,
just the enticing love, of books, and ability, to read.
So children, learn your letters, well, and you will earn the key,
to open worlds, of magic, and realms, of fantasy.
