Courtesy Martin Owen - July 23rd 1940. The Lady Mostyn hit a mine on its journey from Liverpool Albert Dock back to Mostyn. It was lost with all hands, including my grandfather Tommy Williams, his brother Les, and the young Ronnie Barnard from Ffynnongroyw.
