Unleash the pup-arazzi! Photographer turns adorable Golden Retriever puppy into a baby for sweet newborn-style photoshoot

• Blakeney Clouse, 23, was looking for a novel way to introduce new puppy, Jett 
• She decided to pose the puppy in traditional newborn photography positions 
• The Golden Retriever can be seen swaddled in a blanket and sleeping in a bowl 
• Jett, one of three pets Blakeney and her husband have, is now nine weeks old

A photographer put a novel spin on the 'fur baby' idea when she did a newborn photoshoot with her Golden Retriever puppy. 

Blakeney Clouse, 23, of Jasper, Alabama, decided to introduce her now nine-week-old puppy to the world through a series of photos that ape the current professional newborn photography craze. 

Although Blakeney - director of photography at 78 Magazine, which focuses on biographies - said that she doesn't work with children or animals, she opted to combine the two categories in the photoshoot, which took place in January, not long after puppy Jett was introduced to the family.

Jett was also shown sleeping soundly while tucked up inside a wood bowl, similar to the kind of poses that newborn babies have been placed in while being professionally photographed

In the series of images, Jett can be seen sleeping in several poses while swaddled in a cozy blanket, not unlike a human baby.

In other images, Jett has been tucked inside a wood bowl, with one floppy ear charmingly dangling to the ground.   

Blakeney more recently posted to Instagram a photo of a much larger Jett, sitting next to a felt board, which spells out that the puppy is nine weeks old — an image that many parents post on social media to chart milestones in their children's lives, including birthdays and first days of school. 

The puppy was also shown sleeping onto of what appears to be a small table.

Alongside the newer images, posted in February, Blakeney wrote, 'this is Thor’s new little brother Jett. He is fitting in perfectly at the Clouse House.'

The Clouses celebrated their November 2018 wedding with Thor, who has more than 2,500 followers on Instagram.
